Bartholomeus Keckermann was a Reformed theologian who studied in Wittenberg and Heidelberg. He held a chair in Hebrew in the Heidelberg faculty of philosophy (from 1600 onwards), and was recognised for his logical treatise Systema logicae, tribus libris adornatum …  (Hanover, 1611).
